Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max with WiFi 6 launched in India: Check price, specs inside
Amazon had announced the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max last month. Now, almost a month later, Amazon has finally launched its most powerful streaming stick in India. Amazon claims that its newly launched Fire TV Stick 4K Max streaming stick is 40% more powerful than the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K that was launched in India for ₹2,999.

The pre-booking for the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max went on pre-booking in India last month. Today, Amazon India announced that the Amazon Fire TV Max is available in India via Amazon’s e-retail platform and Amazon kiosks in select malls across the country at a price of ₹6,499.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 8696 processor clocking at 1.8GHz with IMG GE8300 GPU. This is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage space, which should allow all your apps to start faster and make navigation on the platform more fluid. The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max features support for Bluetooth 5.0 LE and it is Amazon’s first streaming media player to offer Wi-Fi 6 support. It uses the latest Mediatek MT7921LS Wi-Fi 6 chipset to provide this functionality.
Apart from this, the Amazon Fire TV 4K Max supports 4K UHD, HDR, and HDR10+ streaming as well as Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. It comes with the company’s Alexa Voice Remote, which makes it easier for users to perform various tasks such as search for content, control playback and manage their smart home devices among other things. The new Alexa voice remote features four additional buttons that give users easy access to Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Amazon Prime Music and other apps. Users can also stream YouTube, watch live TV, and listen to music via services like Apple Music, and Spotify. Apart from these, users can also access other OTT platforms including Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, Voot, Discovery+ and Netflix using the company’s Fire TV 4K Max streaming stick.
