The smart TV runs on LG's Alpha 9 Gen 3 processor. According to the company, the chipset helps deliver gaming features such as higher frame rate, VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel), all meeting HDMI 2.1 specifications. The ALLM allows the smart TV to automatically select the low-lag Game Mode when a compatible console is plugged in. The VRR helps dynamically match the refresh rate of the TV to the output of the console.
