So, what are these two TVs offering television buffs? Find out below:
OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge displays deliver a more immersive viewing experience. Both the models offer real-time image quality optimisation with the advanced Gamma Engine feature, which tunes the visuals to provide ultra-clear content with dynamic contrast and vibrant colour, according to the company. The 43 inch variants of both smart TVs also offer Full HD display while the 32 inch variants offer an HD display, along with the HDR10+, HDR10. The OnePlus TV Y1S Edge also comes with the TÜV Rheinland certification which reduces blue light emission, offering relief from eye fatigue.
A smart home assistant is available on the OnePlus TV in the form of the Google Assistant feature that is integrated into the Android TV. The OnePlus TV Y1S and OnePlus TV Y1S Edge are powered by the Android TV 11.0 platform that serves as a home entertainment smart hub.
For the gaming buffs, the ALLM feature (Auto Low Latency Mode)– a part of the new Android 11.0's function – is available to enhance their gaming experience. A connected ecosystem too can be created with the OnePlus TV Y1S and OnePlus TV Y1S Edge by connecting the TC to the OnePlus Buds and the OnePlus Watch to control functions like volume, content scrolls, and other settings.
The OnePlus TV Y1S and OnePlus TV Y1S Edge are designed to enhance the decor in your home, the company said. The TVs also offer a signature bezel-less design. The OnePlus TV Y1S Edge also sports a metallic coating on the bottom bezel that makes it "shimmer".
OnePlus Connect 2.0
Through the OnePlus Connect app (2.0 version), the OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge allows users to transform their smartphone into a TV remote control. They can also pair the OnePlus TV with up to five devices at the same time. In the latest edition, OnePlus Connect can be accessed without a Wi-Fi or data connection.
Parents can also control the kind of content and the time spent on TV by children through the OnePlus Connect app. To set limits on TV time, it has a new Timer feature that allows users to set a dedicated time to automatically turn off the TV at a set hour. For working parents, the User Metrics feature allows them to monitor screen time and control data usage.
OnePlus reveals that both the TVs offer viewers a cinema experience inside the living room with its built-in Dolby Audio. In addition, the OnePlus TV Y1S is equipped with two full-range speakers of maximum 20W output, while the OnePlus TV Y1S Edge comes equipped with two full-range speakers of maximum 24W output.
