A campaign film starring Bollywood celebrity couple Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira that features OnePlus TV has clocked over 2 mn views on social media.
A new campaign film featuring Bollywood celebrity couple Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira has sparked quite a bit of interest on social media. “Let's give Shahid Kapoor a hint to make smarter choices,” says Mira, as she introduces the new OnePlus TV campaign film on her Instagram handle.
The video shows the couple retiring for the night when Shahid decides to spend some ‘me' time with the smart TV. “Finally, just me and my new TV,” says he. However, he realises that it is Mira who controls it and that too with her watch. And that means she decides when it's time to call it a night! The film focuses on the smart capabilities of OnePlus TV urging users to make smarter choices.
The new OnePlus TV is powered by Android 11.0 and there are 2 new models available – the OnePlus TV Y1S and Y1S Edge. Smart connectivity feature is offered through the OnePlus Connect app (2.0 version), which enables users to control their TV with their OnePlus smartphone, smartwatch as well as Buds. Notably, this is the the feature that Mira uses to control Shahid's TV time.
The release of the film marks the start of ‘Stay Connected. Stay Smarter' campaign, with Shahid and Mira Kapoor as the OnePlus TV brand ambassadors for the newly launched smart TVs.

The teaser of the campaign, launched on Friday, March 11, shared by Mira and Shahid Kapoor on social media collectively garnered a reach of over 4 million on Instagram with over 2 million views. The campaign went live on March 14 across YouTube, social media, television (OTT), as well as in cinemas.

Offered in 32 inch and 43-inch variants, the OnePlusTV Y1S 32 inch is available at prices starting ₹16,499 across online platforms, and the OnePlusTV Y1S Edge is available starting ₹16,999 onwards across offline retail channels, along with multiple offers for consumers to avail across both sales platforms.
