Laptops for students under 30000: For students, the academic year is almost about to start and with this in mind, Asus has launched a number of low-priced laptops that will provide tangible support while studying. Today, Asus, a company that is known for its gaming PCs and premium laptops, has entered the affordable PC market in India with four new laptops. Asus has launched four new Chromebooks in India with the model numbers C214, C223, C423 and C523. This lineup includes both the touch and non-touch variants. In total, the company has introduced six new laptops in India, which include Chromebook Flip C214, Chromebook C223, Chromebook C423 (touch and non-touch variants) and Chromebook C523 (touch and non-touch variants). Asus Chromebook price and availability: As far as the pricing is concerned, the Asus Chromebook Flip C214 costs ₹23,999, while the Chromebook C223 costs ₹17,999 in India. On the other hand, the non-touch variants of the Chromebook C423 is priced at ₹19,999 and Chromebook C523 is priced at ₹20,999 in India. Similarly, the touch variant of the Chromebook C423 is priced at ₹23,999 while the touch variant of the Chromebook C523 is priced at ₹24,999 in India.

As far as the availability is concerned, Asus' new range of Chromebooks will be available in India starting July 22 via Flipkart.

Asus Chromebook Flip C214 specs: The Asus Chromebook C214 comes with an 11.6-inch display with its military-grade durability certification. It features additional safety features such as spill and tamper-resistant keyboard that's rated for 10 million keystroke lifespan. It is powered by Intel's 64-bit dual-core processor and a 50Wh battery, which the company says can provide up to 11 hours of run time. It features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage that can be further upgraded up to 2TB using a MicroSD card.

It features a 360-degree hinge that can be opened to 180° to lay flat on a desk for easy collaboration. It also features an HD 720p camera and stereo loudspeakers, and a world-facing 5MP autofocus camera for capturing pictures and videos.

Asus Chromebook C223, C423, C523 specs: These Chromebooks come with up to a full-HD resolution display. The Chromebook C423 and C523 can be opened to 180-degrees to lay flat on a desk for easy collaboration. They are powered by Intel's 64-bit dual-core processor that is coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage space that can be further upgraded up to 2TB using a MicroSD card. They come with a Li-ion battery that provides a backup of up to 10 hours. All three Asus Chromebooks, which included a total of five variants come with HD camera and stereo loudspeakers.

Asus, back in 2020, had forayed into the commercial PC segment in India with a total of 11 new devices which included six Expertbook series laptops, three ExpertCentre series desktops and two AiO series models.
