The new iQOO 8 Pro smartphone is all set to launch and here’s what customers can expect from it.
In what will be of interest to online gaming fans, It has been revealed that the upcoming iQOO 8 smartphone is expected to be released later this month. iQOO is Vivo’s popular sub-brand that is known for its performance-focused devices aimed at gamers. The upcoming iQOO 8 is expected to launch in China on August 17, and the company has now revealed some of its camera details.
The company took to Weibo to reveal the smartphone’s camera specs, stating that the iQOO 8 Pro will come with 50MP primary camera sensor, and a 48MP ultrawide camera. The image of the smartphone’s camera module shared by the company shows the presence of the third camera sensor, but we do not know the specifications of this camera at this point.

The company has also shared image samples taken through the iQOO 8 Pro camera. The samples show a white lizard perched on a branch, and it reveals some of the camera s capabilities. One stunning photo shows the background behind the subject melting away into pitch darkness. Interestingly, the camera sample also shows the branch clearly without noticeable darkening. However, fans will have to wait until the company reveals more details about whether the feature is supported only on the iQOO 8 Pro, or whether the regular iQOO 8 will also have it.
The specifications of the iQOO 8 Pro camera have not yet been revealed by the company, but the regular iQOO 8 model could come with a 1080p resolution 10-bit display and sport a triple camera setup with 48MP primary camera sensor (rumoured to be the IMX598) and two 13 MP sensors, according to a tipster on Weibo who was quoted by Gadgets 360.
Meanwhile, the iQOO 8 Pro smartphone could come with a higher resolution 2K display that features a triple camera layout including a 50MP Sony IMX 766 sensor, a 48MP IMX589 ultrawide sensor, and a third 16MP camera sensor, according to the report.
