Motorola Edge 30 Ultra flagship and a possible Moto G launch are expected to happen in India in early 2022. Motorola is already on a launch spree in December with its Moto G series devices and starting 2022, it is expected to launch more. Expected to be called the Edge 30 Ultra, this phone is expected to compete with the early Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Android flagships.

Joining the Edge series flagship is expected to be a Moto G model. Given that Motorola has already launched the Moto G31 and the Moto G51 is enroute, it seems that this Moto G model is most likely to be the Moto G71 5G; the one with the Snapdragon 695 5G chip. Motorola is yet to confirm any of the leaked information though.

Motorola Edge 30, Moto G expected specs

The leak comes via a report from 91Mobiles and Motorola is yet to verify it. Hence, you should take this with a pinch of salt. However, looking at the company's recent past, it is highly likely these phones are headed to India.

Motorola had launched three models in the Edge 20 series, with the Edge 20 Pro being the topmost variant running on a high-end Snapdragon 870 chipset and a versatile triple camera setup. The upcoming Motorola Edge X30 is supposed to be the company's latest flagship for 2022 and rumours suggest it launching as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.

Some of the leaked specifications ahead of its launch point at a 144Hz OLED display, a 50MP + 50MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup, a 60MP selfie camera, a 5000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging, and up to 16GB RAM as well as 512GB storage. The cherry on top of the cake is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip.

On the other hand, the Moto G71 is expected to retain the same specs as its global variant. That said, Motorola usually tweaks its Moto G models for the Indian market and hence, it remains to be seen what upgrade do Indians get with the G71.
