Motorola Nio with flagship-level specifications is coming soon

The phone is said to come with Qualcomm’s top-end Snapdragon 865 processor, up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

Lenovo-owned Motorola is reportedly working on a new flagship-level smartphone. Dubbed as Motorola Nio, some of the key features of the phone have already surfaced online.

According to TechnikNews (via Gadgets360), Motorola Nio sports XT2125 model number. The report says the phone will have a Full HD+ display with up to 90Hz refresh rate. The big highlight of the phone is said to be Qualcomm's top-end Snapdragon 865 processor. The chipset could be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The base model could offer 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage.

In the camera department, Motorola Nio is rumoured to come with a triple rear camera setup. The configuration may include a 64-megapixel primary sensor coupled with an ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone is also rumoured to come with two front-facing cameras. The setup is said to feature a combination of the 16-megapixel primary and 8-megapixel secondary sensor.

Another highlight of the phone is that it is said to be Motorola's first phone with Android 11 out-of-the-box. As of now, there is no word on the launch date of the phone as yet.

Separately, Motorola is also working on a budget Moto G Play 2021 smartphone. Rumours suggest the phone will feature an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC. Other rumoured features of the phone include Android 10 and having 3GB RAM.
