Nothing CEO Carl Pei has just recommended an iPhone 14 Pro over his own product! The iPhone 14 Pro is currently one of the best smartphones money can buy and its demand is a proof. We critics have said good and bad things about it, and so have several customers who paid money for it. However, it is rare to see the CEO of a rival kickstart smartphone brand appreciating the latest iPhone publicly. After all, brands like Samsung, Google, Xiaomi and Huawei openly mock Apple for its iPhones.
Nonetheless, we now have Nothing's Carl Pei reviewing an iPhone 14 Pro. Having used it for a week, Carl talks blatantly about the iPhone 14 Pro and compares it honestly to a Nothing Phone 1. Throughout the video, Carl sticks to one point – the iPhone 14 Pro is easily one of the best smartphones one can buy, especially with regards to cameras and performance. He even recommends the iPhone 14 Pro for people seeking a good camera experience over his own product, the Nothing Phone 1.
That's surprising!

mobile to buy?
Nothing CEO recommends iPhone 14 Pro
While he praises the iPhone 14 Pro for its superiority, Carl also takes the opportunity to disclose why the Nothing Phone 1 is almost as good, especially if you consider the price. It is revealed that Nothing earns zero profit margins on the Phone 1, whereas Apple earns 50 percent profits on the iPhone 14 Pro.
Carl also goes on to say that the Nothing Phone 1 does almost everything nicely that the iPhone 14 Pro can. Be it playing the latest online multiplayer games or doing basic smartphone stuff, the Phone 1's weaker processor can manage it all fine. He also says that the Phone 1 at such a lower price looks unique when compared to the iPhone 14 Pro. Even the overall camera performance is quite comparable for someone who just wants to take good photos
In our reviews, we have been fascinated by both the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the Nothing Phone 1. The iPhone 14 Pro Max has one of the best overall camera systems, great performance, and superb battery life to back up with. The Nothing Phone 1, on the other hand, is a stellar smartphone in the midrange segment, offering a polished Android experience with a unique back design and that striking Glyph light interface.
