Xiaomi is building hype around the 2021 edition of the Redmi Note 8 for quite some time. The company has already revealed a few details through a series of official teasers. Now, the company has listed full specifications and official renders on its global website.

The Redmi Note 8 2021 renders show a dewdrop-like notch on the front and a vertical camera module on the back. The official page shows the phone comes in three colours – Neptune Blue, Moonlight White, and Space Black. The phone measures 158.3x75.3x8.3mm and weighs around 190 grams.

As far as specifications go, the Redmi Note 8 2021 comes with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. The phone comes in 4+64GB and 4+128GB RAM and storage variants. The phone offers LPDDR4X RAM + eMMC 5.1 storage combo. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

In the camera department, the handset has a 48-megapixel quad-camera setup on the back. The configuration consists of a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera (1/2” sensor size, 0.8 μm pixel size, f/1.79), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2 120-degree field of view), 2-megapixel macro camera (f/2.4), and 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4). On the front, it houses a 13-megapixel in-display selfie camera (f/2.0).

Redmi Note 8 2021 comes with a 6.3-inch full HD+ dot drop display with 409 ppi, 500 nits brightness, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
