Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series has just been launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung introduced three different tablets - Galaxy S8, Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra - in its live event today. The tablets are priced at $699, $899 and $1099 respectively. At the beginning of the event, Samsung announced that it has used green plastics for all its products released today in line with the company's commitment to sustainable development. The Galaxy S8 lineup includes many new features and upgrades over the previous iteration. However, do remember that some of these specifications can change for the Indian market. So, let's check out the specifications and expected price for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 specifications

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is the base level tablet in the S8 series. It features an 11-inch LTPS display with 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has a 4 nanometer 64-bit Octa-core processor, Samsung's fastest yet. Samsung's base level S8 tablet comes with an 8,000 mAh battery which supports up to 45W fast charge support.

On connectivity, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 will support 5G, LTE, WiFi 6E and Bluetooth v5.2. The tablet sports a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary lens and a 6MP ultra wide lens. On the front, it has a 12MP ultra wide camera. The tablet will be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants as well as 128GB and 256GB storage variants.

Additionally, it has quad stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos and 3 microphones. It is capable of recording videos in 4K and 8K.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is priced at $699 (Roughly Rs. 52,000).

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ specifications

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ is the mid level tablet in the S8 series. It features a 12.4-inch, 266 ppi Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Weighing 567 grams, it has the same 4 nanometer 64-bit Octa-core processor of the base level. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ is equipped with a 10,090 mAh battery which supports up to 45W fast charge support.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ will support all the networks as the base model which include 5G, LTE, WiFi 6E and Bluetooth v5.2. The tablet also sports a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary lens and a secondary 6MP ultra wide lens. On the flipside, it has a 12MP ultra wide camera. The tablet will also be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants as well as 128GB and 256GB storage variants.

Just like the base model, it also has quad stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos and 3 microphones and is capable of recording videos in 4K and 8K. The base level Galaxy S8 tablet comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. S pen is included with the device.

The Samsung Galaxy S8+ is priced at $899 (Roughly Rs. 67,000).

Both the tablets are available in Graphite, Silver and Pink Gold colors.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the high end Tablet in the series. It features a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED with 120 Hz refresh rate. The tablet weighs 726 grams, 200 grams heavier than the base model. Just like the other models, it also has a 4 nanometer 64-bit Octa-core processor. The tablet also carries the largest battery in the series with a 11,200 mAh battery with up to 45W fast charge support. 

Just like the other two models, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will support all the networks as the base model which include 5G, LTE, WiFi 6E and Bluetooth v5.2. The tablet also sports a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary lens and a secondary 6MP ultra wide lens. On the front, it features a dual camera setup with a 12MP wide lens and a 12MP ultra wide lens. 

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes in three RAM variants of 8GB, 12GB and 16GB. It also has a 128GB, 256GB and a 512GB internal storage variant. 

The tablet also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. has quad stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos and 3 microphones and is capable of recording videos in 4K and 8K. The tablet is only available in Graphite color variant.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 Ultra is priced at $1029 (Roughly Rs. 82,000).
