The tech world today was dominated by the news of Xiaomi launching a new budget smartphone, that is the Redmi Note 9, in India. In addition to that, Vodafone introduced it's e-SIM in India becoming the third telecom operator after Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel to do so.

Redmi Note 9 launched in India
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 9 smartphone in India today. The phone is available in India in three variants. While the 4GB+64GB model is priced at ₹11,999, the 4GB+128GB variant is priced at ₹13,999. The top variant of the phone with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at ₹14,999.
Vodafone introduces e-SIM in India
Vodafone introduced e-SIM support for its prepaid users in India. The facility is available for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR only.
Amazon Grand Gaming Days sale
Amazon announced the Grand Gaming Days sale in India today. The sale will begin at midnight today and will go on till midnight on June 23. During this time, Amazon is offering deals and discounts on the purchase of gaming laptops, monitors and other accessories.
Snapchat rolls out Snap Minis for all users globally
Snapchat rolled out Snap Minis for all users on Android and iOS today. Snap Minis are available in chat and search functionality of the app.
Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 launch date confirmed
Samsung is set to host its Galaxy unpacked event on August 5. Today, the company via a post via its official UK Twitter handle that the Galaxy Fold 2 will launch alongside the Galaxy Note 20 on August 5.
