Xiaomi just launched Mi Box 4K in India. The company is now working on a new streaming device. Dubbed as Mi TV Stick, the streaming device has been spotted on China’s e-retailer Gearbest. The listing gives away some key specifications and features of the streaming device.
According to the listing, Xiaomi’s Mi TV Stick will run on Android. It is said to be powered by Amlogic S905 quad-core processor. This is the same chip that powers Mi Box S. The processor is coupled with Mali G31 GPU. Mi TV Stick is said to have 2GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage.
The listing reveals Xiaomi Mi TV Stick comes with 4K HDR support. For audio, it supports Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. For connectivity, it has HDMI 2.0, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 4.2, and dual-band Wi-Fi, reports Gizmochina. The device could also come with Google Assistant support. This will allow users to browse using the voice commands.
The listing reveals Mi TV Stick will be priced at $79.99, which is ₹6,000 approximately.
The latest leak comes shortly after the company launched Mi Box 4K in India. The streaming device is priced at ₹3,499. It comes with Android TV, 4K HDR 10 support, and Dolby Audio.
