Xiaomi Mi TV Stick gets a price cut as a part of Mi Super Sale

In case you have been waiting for a nice deal on smart TV sticks that give you easy access to OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar and more, it might be a good chance to get Xiaomi's popular Mi TV Stick. The product is currently available at ₹2,400 as a part of the Mi Super Sale, which goes on until March 26. This also means that the Mi TV Stick now has a lower than usual price tag by ₹300. The device was launched last year in August by Xiaomi at ₹2,799.

It's an Android-based streaming dongle with Dolby and DTS powered surround sound support. The Mi TV Stick also comes with Google Assistant voice support. It supports full HD resolution videos at 60fps. Under the hood runs a quad-core CPU paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It also packs an ARM Mali-GPU, and runs on Android.
Since it's Android TV-based, the Mi TV Stick comes with access to the Google Play Store for apps. It also has Chromecast built-in. Other than that the Mi TV Stick comes with popular OTT apps such as Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5 and more.
Talking about TV sticks in India, one of the latest models to launch in India is the Motorola 4K Android TV Stick, which is priced at ₹3,999. It comes with a 2GHz quad-core Cortex A53 64-bit processor and Mali G31 MP2-850 graphic engine. The new Android TV stick also has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. The dongle supports multiple resolutions, ranging from 2160p to 720p at 60 frames per second. The HDR 10 and HLG video formats are also supported. There are also hotkeys for popular OTT applications such as Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Zee5, and of course, Netflix.
