Xiaomi OLED Vision TV goes on sale today
The Xiaomi OLED Vision TV is all about its OLED display, and comes in only a single 55-inch size variant. Due to the OLED panel, the TV offers a very narrow bezel-less design and Xiaomi claims a 97 percent screen-to-body ratio with that design. Similar to OLED displays on smartphones, the OLED TV display has self-illuminating pixels, which results in sharper and brighter image quality with deep contrasts. Xiaomi also claims that the 4K OLED panel can go down to nearly zero nits of brightness. Additionally, the panel supports 10-bit colour along with MEMC for motion blur and TUV certification. There is also support for Dolby Vision IQ and 98.5 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut.
When it comes to the performance, the OLED Vision TV relies on an unknown quad-core Cortex-A73 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. It runs on the latest Android TV 11 but misses out on the Google TV experience.
As for audio, the OLED Vision TV gets an 8-speaker setup. Xiaomi says they deliver a rate output of 30W. They also support Dolby Atmos. The Xiaomi OLED Vision TV also gets far-field microphones with quick access to Google Assistant, just like its 75-inch QLED TV.
