AOC launches new gaming monitors with 144Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync support and more in India

These also feature 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, in addition to AMD FreeSync technology for synchronizing the GPU and frames resulting in no tearing or stuttering.

AOC, a brand better known for its monitor display technology, today launched monitors from its G1 and G2 Gaming Series - C27G1, G2590PX, C24G1 and G2590VXQ. These are priced at Rs. 35,990, Rs. 27,490, Rs. 24,490 and Rs. 16,390 respectively and are meant to be a part of the gaming ecosystem. Out of these, the G1 monitor series comes in 27-inch and 23.6-inch curved display models, while the G2 series is available with 24.5-inch flat panels.

These also feature 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, in addition to AMD FreeSync technology for synchronizing the GPU and frames resulting in no tearing or stuttering. It is also possible to adjust color saturation and grey level with 20 levels of detail. Specially for FPS games, the company has ‘Dial Point' function which places an aiming indicator in the center of the screen for accurate and precise aiming.

All this comes in addition to the Shadow Control feature that enables fast adjustment of the in-game image to improve areas of the screen that are too dark or washed out, without affecting the rest of the screen. There's also the Low Input Lag feature to decrease delay between video source and display for a lag free experience.
