Haier launches a new line of refrigerators in India, price starts at ₹22,800

This new line of refrigerators includes a total of 14 models including 6 glass-door models, 6 floral models and 2 plain models.

Haier today launched a new line of refrigerators in India. The company's new line of refrigerators includes a total of 14 variants in the five-star category. It will be available in 195L capacity in six glass-door variants including ocean, tide, glory and mirror; six floral-door variants including Red Crane, Marine Crane and Marine Monarch; and two plain modifications, which includes Silver and Titanium Steel.

As far as the prices are concerned, the glass variants are available in a price range of ₹27,100 and ₹28,600. The floral range, on the other hand, will be priced between ₹24,900 and ₹26,500. There are two plain models, while one model costs ₹23,700, the other model costs ₹22,700.

As far as the features are concerned, the newly launched refrigerators come with a special airflow vent inside the freezer that helps in better cooling. It has a ‘connect home inverter' feature that sets up a connection with the home inverter automatically during power cuts to ensure continuous cooling.

In addition to this, these new refrigerators have Haier's flagship ‘one-hour-icing technology' adept in making ice in just 60 minutes'. The refrigerators are embedded with a thick PUF insulation and longer condenser coils for effective cooling while keeping the food fresh and saving a lot of energy. They also come with a separate fruit box and a base drawer to maintain hygiene levels and keeping fruits and vegetables odourless and fresh.

Additionally, these new refrigerators come with an inverter compressor, which the company says allows great energy savings. Haier claims that its new 5-star range would “allow customers to save up to 60% of their money which is ₹13,860 when compared with the competitors over the period of 10 years.”
