    Zebronics has launched its first smart speaker dubbed - the ZEB-Smart Bot - that can remotely control appliances and also has built-in Alexa smart support for voice-enabled assistance.

    You can ask Alexa to read you the latest news headlines, play audiobooks, remotely control devices, set schedules etc with the ZEB-Smart Bot. The speaker comes with a minimalist design that includes media and volume controls on the top along with a mute microphone button.

    It features a 360-degree IR blaster and can be used to remotely control any device that has an IR remote. The ZEB-Smart Bot also has a dual far-field mic that will help users speak to Alexa on the device and give easy voice commands with the wake-word - “Hey Alexa…”.

    The companion ZEB-Home app for the ZEB-Smart Bot is available both on the Play Store as well as the App Store. To set it up you need to configure both the ZEB-Home app and the Amazon Alexa app to get things going. 

    The ZEB-Smart Bot is effectively both a smart speaker that can control smart devices through Alexa. It is also an IR controller for your non-smart devices as long as they have IR remote support.
