Amazing! Apple sees iPhone 14 sales even beating those of the iPhone 13

A latest report suggests that Apple is expecting iPhone 14 to have better initial sales than the iPhone 13. Here’s what else is expected from iPhone 14.

Apple's current flagship series iPhone 13 is still one of the best options that smartphone seekers can buy. A and this is reflected in the latest reports around the previous months' sales of the smartphone. These show that the iPhone 13 remains a top selling phone. However, amazingly, the upcoming iPhone 14 models are expected to have even better sales than the iPhone 13, a Chinese media report Sina Finance mentioned. The report confirms that Apple has already started trial production of the iPhone 14 and even plans to start mass production in August ahead of the expected launch in September.

Moreover, Apple has informed suppliers that the initial sales of the iPhone 14 will be higher than the iPhone 13 sales after its launch in 2021, the report mentioned. The expectations of Apple are in line with several analysts' predictions, as well as Wall Street. A number of analysts believe that if major economies fall into recession, Apple's upcoming iPhone sales are expected to outperform the smartphone industry. As Apple focuses on the high-end smartphone segment, hence, inflation in core commodities will have a negligible impact on Apple's iPhone sales, the report mentioned.

However, the iPhone sales generally face a slowdown during the July-August period. The reason is the expected new launches of iPhones in September. Well, contrarily, the iPhone 13 shipments are one-third higher this July so far in comparison to last year, which simply hints towards the continuous demand of the iPhone 13 and it is likely to stay elevated.

“Consistent with previous years' time frames, Apple has begun trial production of the iPhone 14, with the goal of mass production in August so that it can be shipped in the fall (September),” the Sina Finance report quoted the people who are familiar with the matter. It further mentions that, “For the iPhone 14, Apple gave suppliers an initial sales forecast that was slightly higher than the iPhone 13 a year ago.”

Back in 2021, the iPhone 13 series was launched on September 14 and soon became available for pre-order on September 17. The new iPhone 14 launch is expected during the same period this year.
