Apple iPhone 12 logic board leaked online
The image shows that Samsung will supply flash storage for iPhone 12.
Apple iPhone 12 launch is still a couple of months away. Ahead of the phone's official launch, the internet has been brimming with reports of the features that are expected to make it to the final series. Now, an image circulating on social media details how iPhone 12's internals...ehmm...logic board would look like.
According to a Twitter account, L0vetodream, the logic board in the image corresponds to the iPhone 12. However, it remains uncertain which iPhone model in the upcoming iPhone 12 series this image corresponds to or if it is legitimate.

Notably, the image doesn't give out much about the design of the upcoming iPhone series. However, it does tell us that the logic board has a single layer design which is unlike the dual-layer board design that we have seen in some of the older models. Apart from this, the board seems to have been manufactured in the 40th week of last year or the first week of October. The image also tells us that Samsung will remain the supplier for flash storage in iPhone models this year, MacRumours reported.
Separately, reports have also detailed the display specifications of the upcoming iPhone 12 series. As per the details shared by DSCC founder Ross Young, iPhone 12 will come with a 5.4-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels, 475 ppi and Y-Octa touchscreen tech. It will be supplied by Samsung. iPhone 12 Max, on the other hand, will come with a 6.1-inch panel by BOE. He also said that the 6.68-inch screen for the iPhone 12 Pro Max may exclusively come from Samsung and it could have a 2778x1284 flexible OLED panel with 458 ppi, Y-OCTA technology.
