Galaxy A52s, A42 5G Android 12 update in Jan 2022, hints Samsung leak

Galaxy A52s, Galaxy A42 5G and many others' Android 12 update schedule accidentally revealed by Samsung. Most updates planned by July 2022.

Samsung's Android 12 update is starting to rollout for the Galaxy S21 devices, thereby making Samsung the second company on our side of the world to release an official Android 12 update (the first being Google). That's good to hear for owners of the S21 series but what about the others? Samsung may given us a fair idea.

A complete list of the rollout schedule was released only to be taken down soo after. Samsung may not have been ready with the schedule but it gave the world a glimpse of what could be in the plans. Samsung's plans include a continuous Android update schedule for eligible devices until July 2022. And that includes all its foldables, tablets, and the regular Galaxy A series phones.

Galaxy A52s, Galaxy M42 5G Android 12 update 

As part of the list, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra were scheduled to get the Android 12 update in November 2021, which Samsung delivered upon.

In December 2021, Samsung is likely to deliver the Android 12 update to the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and Galaxy Z Fold 2.

In January 2021, Samsung is planning to give Android 12 to Galaxy Fold 5G, Z Flip, Note 10, Note 10 Plus, S10e/S10/S10Plus, S10 5G, S20 FE, A52s 5G, A42 5G, and Quantum 2.

February 2022 will only update the Galaxy Tab S7 series devices while in March 2022, the update will reach the Galaxy A51 5G, A90 5G, and a couple of other tablet devices. Devices like the Galaxy A32, Galaxy A31, and Galaxy A12 will get the update in May 2022 while the Galaxy A21s and M12 will get it in July 2022.

Since this sheet was withdrawn, you should wait to hear officially from Samsung. Samsung usually supports its Galaxy S, Galaxy A, Galaxy Note, and galaxy Z devices with three OS updates, a nd four years of security update.
