Honor has launched a new smartphone with 64-megapixel quad-camera and Dimensity 800U processor. Here is everything you need to know about the new Honor V40 Lite model.

Honor on Tuesday launched a new handset. Called Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition, the smartphone will be available in China initially. The device will be available at a starting price of 2,999 Yuan ( ₹33,380 approximately).

Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition will go on sale on March 26. The phone comes in multiple colour variants, including black, blue, and silver. The top-end model of the phone is priced at 3,299 Yuan ( ₹36,700 approximately).

Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition comes with a slim profile. It is 7.64mm thick and weighs around 169 grams. The phone has a 6.57-inch curved OLED panel with full HD resolution. It also supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The front has a punch-hole cutout that houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

On the back, Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition has a quad-camera setup that consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and 2-megapixel macro sensor.

For performance, Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage. The base model has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.

On the software front, it has Android 10-based Magic UI 4.0. The phone also packs a 3,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The handset is said to come with 5G support as well as a dual card standby feature.

Apart from a new handset, Honor has also launched a new tablet. Called Honor Tab 7, the device has a 10.1-inch IPS LCD panel with full HD+ resolution. The tablet comes with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of built-in storage. It also supports expandable storage via microSD.

The tablet comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 2-megapixel rear camera. It packs a 5,100mAh battery. The Honor Tab 7 is available in Wi-Fi only and LTE versions.

At the moment, there is no word on the global rollout of the two new Honor devices.
