As soon as Apple unveiled the new iPhone 14 series, the leaks and rumours around the iPhone 15 have picked up pace and it seems the new iPhone is likely to beat the Phone 14 hollow. This is despite the fact that the Pro models of the iPhone 14 lineup have massive new upgrades that Apple has introduced for the first time. While, new reports suggest that Apple iPhone 15 Pro, which will likely be coming in 2023, may finally feature the USB-C port. This will end Apple's exclusive lightning port era that we have seen for years. Famous Apple analysts Mark Gurman and Ming-Chi Kuo have predicted some major upgrades that you may get on the next-generation iPhone 15 series. Not just that, the Pro and non-Pro models of the next series may also have features to differentiate from each other.

This comes from Mark Gurman, who says that “I believe Apple will create more differentiation between iPhone 15 Pros and iPhone 15 standard models to increase Pro shipment allocation and the new iPhone ASP.” This reinforces the idea of the current iPhone 14 series, where Apple tried to expand the gap between standard and iPhone 14 Pro models in terms of features and upgrades while adding a new A16 Bionic chipset, Dynamic Island, a new 48MP camera, always-on-display feature and much more.

He further added, “Taking a step further, Apple will also start creating differentiation between the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the iPhone 15 Pro. It's the best practice via a precise product segmentation strategy to generate more sales/profits in a mature market." Also, leaks suggest that the iPhone 15 Pro Max might be called iPhone 15 Ultra to further differentiate it from the rest of the models in the series. Here's what else we can expect from the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra.

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra leaks and rumours

Of course, as usual, the new iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to get the new A17 Bionic chipset. However, this year, Apple only packed the new A16 Bionic chipset to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and the standard version has an upgraded version of the A15 chipset, which is on the iPhone 13 Pro models.
