iQOO Z5 priced at ₹23,990 on launch in India; big discount offered

The iQOO Z5 was launched in India on Monday, expanding the company's Z series smartphone range here. The iQOO Z5 comes equipped with the capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset which has 5G connectivity. The iQOO Z5 price at launch has been pegged at ₹23,990. It comes with a 64 MP triple cam setup on the rear, and a fingerprint sensor on the power button. The smartphone has been officially launched and customers can purchase it starting on October 6.

The iQOO Z5 will be sold in two colour variants – Arctic Dawn and Mystic Space. The smartphone will be sold in two RAM and storage variants. The iQOO Z5 price, for the 8GB/128GB variant, is ₹23,990. On the other hand, the iQOO Z5 price, for the 12GB/256GB variant, is ₹26,990. Customers will be able to buy these devices starting October 6.

Customers can also purchase the iQOO Z5 from the company's official website on October 6, when the phone goes on sale. Purchasing the device will also entitle customers to ₹1,500 off using an Amazon coupon, six months free screen replacement, ₹1,500 off HDFC debit cards and credit cards.

The iQOO Z5 comes with the 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset with 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM depending on the configuration. The device is equipped with UFS 3.1 storage and will be available in 128GB and 256GB variants. The iQOO Z5 has a 20:9, 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and support for HDR 10 content. On the camera front, the device comes with a 16MP selfie shooter on the front and a triple rear camera setup including a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.

The device comes with dual SIM 5G connectivity and has a 5000mAh battery that can be charged at 44W with the company's FlashCharge technology via the USB-C port. It supports Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, Wi-Fi and a 3.5mm audio jack. Instead of an in-display fingerprint scanner, the iQOO Z5 comes with a fingerprint scanner on the power button as well as facial recognition.
