That’s what this big iPhone 14 leak tells us. Check out which date the event is likely to take place. (Reuters) ![Author Photo](https://images.hindustantimes.com/tech/static/revamp/images/png/HTTech-new-circle-logo.png) ### By HT TECH A variety of iPhone 14 leaks and rumors are doing the rounds every single day. While some claim to tell us about the new features and hardware in the iPhone 14 devices, others try to guess its price. But this major iPhone 14 leak takes a completely different direction. If this information is to be believed, we now know on which date Apple will finally launch the iPhone 14 series. And it is closer than you expect. Check out the likely date for the Apple event 2022 below. Also read: iPhone 14 Max – A bigger display at a cheaper rate The leak comes from iDropNews, which is run by a leaker who goes by the name LeaksApplePro. And if this information is to be believed, this will be the earliest Apple event in the last 4 years. For reference, the Apple event in 2019 took place on September 20th, while the Apple event in 2020 was held on October 23 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Last year, the Apple event which launched the iPhone 13 series happened on September 24. ## Major iPhone 14 leak reveals expected date for Apple event 2022 Now, the leaker LeaksApplePro claims that Apple event 2022 which will launch the iPhone 14, can take place in the 37th week of the year. That particular week begins on September 12. Now, considering that Apple tends to hold its events on Tuesday, it is likely that the Apple event will be held on September 13. As mentioned above, this will make it the earliest Apple event since 2019. Also read: New iPhone charging cable coming as Apple told to kill old one; will iPhone 14 get it? Also read click here. While you should always take these iPhone 14 leaks and rumors with a pinch of salt, there is some logic to it. In the past, we have mostly seen Apple host its events in the month of September. The only exception in recent times was 2020, when the company had to delay its event due to the pandemic. Even if this leak does not stand correct, it is very likely that the event this year will also take place in September itself. The Apple event 2022 can launch the much anticipated iPhone 14 series along with rumored products like AirPods Pro 2, Apple Watch 8 and there is a long shot of new MacBooks being launched as well. If all these products are indeed launched, it will make this year’s event a very memorable one.
