MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update is here! If you have a Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G, you are in for a treat. The latest iteration of MIUI 12 is here that promises to improve performance and fix bugs. MIUI 12.5 Enhanced is being rolled out to the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G in India and users should keep an eye for a new software update notification.
The MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update is all about the software and hardware optimization. In its changelog, Xiaomi says that users can expect better battery life, smoother performance, better memory management and a lot more teaks to keep the phone responsive. The update carries the codename of V12.5.4.0.RKOINXM.

Note that the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced is still based on Android 11. Xiaomi is yet to rollout the Android 12 update on any of its phones across the world. Rumours have it that the MIUI 13 version expected to be released with the Xiaomi 12 series flagships could be based on Android 12.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G continues to sell at its launch price of ₹26,999 for the base variant. This phone relies on the Snapdragon 778G chipset for bringing the 5G network support. Rest of the phone is identical to the Mi 11 Lite 4G, which means you get a 90Hz 10-bit OLED display, a 64MP triple rear camera setup, a 4250mAh battery, stereo speakers, and a 33W wired charging system.
