MIUI 13 India update schedule: Redmi Note 10 in 1st batch with Xiaomi flagships
MIUI 13 India rollout schedule includes Redmi Note 10 series alongside flagship Xiaomi phones from 2021. Here’s the list.
MIUI 13 India rollout schedule is out! Earlier today, Xiaomi India announced MIUI 13 for the Indian market, bringing all the features that were a part of the global build. The successor to MIUI 12.5 promises improved performance for older devices, new visual experiences, and a lean Android experience. The update is reaching eligible devices in the first quarter of 2022, which means the listed phones will get the update before March 2022 ends.
In essence, MIUI 13 isn't a drastic departure from MIUI 12.5. However, some of its highlighted features are likely to be retained for the high-end Xiaomi phones only. Users should experience faster all-round performance in general after the update. Xiaomi also says that more phones will get the MIUI 13 update later in the year, and the company will keep updating its customers via its social media channels.
Note that the MIUI 13 update does not speak anything regarding the Android 12 update. Hence, there's a high chance that most of these confirmed devices will get MIUI 13 as a skin update, while the Android 12 update may come later.
MIUI 13 India rollout first batch
Here's a list of all the devices eligible for the getting MIUI 13 in the first batch.

Xiaomi 11T Pro
Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G
Mi 11 Lite
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max

It is surprising to see no Poco device listed in the first batch rollout of MIUI 13. Additionally, some notable new launches missing the list include the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge. The upcoming Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S could be getting the MIUI 13 update out of the box, as is the situation with global markets.
MIUI 13 promises a 60 percent gain in storage efficiency, 40 percent improved RAM optimisation, and a faster priority optimisation to improve the overall performance. Xiaomi is also promising 10 percent gains with regards to battery life. The Sidebar is a new addition offering quick access to favourite apps from anywhere on the homescreen. Lastly, MIUI 13 also offers a couple of new Live Wallpapers that will most likely be limited to the Xiaomi flagship devices.
