Motorola Moto G31 is launching in India on November 29 and here is everything we know about this smartphone.

Motorola is launching the Moto G31 in India on November 29. The Moto G31 was part of the several new Moto G models that launched globally a few days ago. Expected to be an affordable entry point into the new Moto G series, the Moto G31 is the only 4G model in the new lineup. Motorola is yet to reveal the prices.

On its social media channels, Motorola is actively promoting the AMOLED display of the Moto G31. Similar to the global variant, the G31 will get the 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. Since Motorola is not mentioning any kind of refresh rate data, we assume it will be a 60Hz panel. The phone is expected to come in the light blue and dark maroon colours.

It remains to be seen whether the Indian variant of the Moto G31 bears any difference from the global variant; most popular Motorola midrange phones in India get a special upgrade mostly related to the chipset (Motorola One Fusion, Edge 20 Fusion).

Hence for now, we know that the Mot G31 could be largely identical to the global variant. Motorola has already confirmed the 6.4-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The phone could rely on the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, offer RAM capacities of 4GB and 6GB, and 64GB/128GB storage. The G31 global model relies on the 5000mAh battery and comes with 10W wired charging.

When it comes to the camera, the Moto G31 comes with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The phone launched globally with Android 11 out of the box, although it remains to be seen whether Motorola launches it with Android 12 in India.
