Nokia 5.4 set to launch with these improvements

HMD Global will soon launch Nokia 5.4. The new smartphone will succeed the Nokia 5.3, which had launched in March this year. Nokia 5.4 is said to come with a better processor and a new screen design.

According to Nokiapoweruser, Nokia 5.4 will come with a 6.4-inch display with a punch-hole display. The smartphone will offer a newer and improved processor, though there is no word on which one it will be. The phone will also come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage. Nokia 5.4 will reportedly feature a quad-camera setup and may come with further improvements.

It is said to be available in at least blue and purple colour options. According to the website, Nokia 5.4 could debut alongside Nokia 7.3 5G by the end of 2021.

That said, Nokia 5.4 appears to be an incremental improvement over the predecessor.

Launched in India for 13,999 (starting), Nokia 5.3 sports a 6.55-inch HD+ display. The smartphone sports four rear cameras with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel depth sensor, 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, it offers an 8-megapixel front camera.

Nokia 5.3 runs on a 4,000mAh battery with a USB Type-C port. It has Qualcomm's Snapdragon 665 processor and comes with Android 10 out-of-the-box. It is also confirmed to get Android 11 and 12 updates in the future. Nokia 5.3 is available in cyan, sand and charcoal colours.
