Nokia 5310 Xpress Music phone to launch in India on June 16

The iconic Nokia Xpress Music phone got an update earlier this year. And it's launching in India on June 16.

Nokia earlier this week teased the launch of its new feature phone in India. It posted another teaser today confirming the launch date for the Nokia 5310 feature phone.

Nokia Mobile India teased the feature phone on Twitter along with an announcement saying that there are 5 days to go. This confirms that the Nokia 5310 will launch in India on June 16. Nokia already has feature phones in India but this one's different as it's the 2020 version of the iconic Xpress Music phone which launched back in 2007.

The new Nokia 5310 was first unveiled earlier this March. Just like the Xpress Music phone, this one also has music playback buttons on the side. The feature phone has dual front-facing speakers. It comes in two colour combinations of white plus red, and black plus red.

In terms of specs, Nokia 5310 features a 2.4-inch QVGA colour display, and a physical keypad. On the software front, it runs Nokia Series 30+. Nokia 5310 is powered by MediaTek's MT6260A processor paired with 8MB of RAM. there's 16MB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

Nokia 5310 has a VGA camera at the rear along with a flash. It packs a 1,200mAh removable battery that is said to offer up to 30 days of standby time. Nokia 5310 also has features like a built-in MP3 player and FM radio.
