The source of the leak was Nokia itself when the Nokia Mobile Instagram account in France accidentally published and revealed details about the Nokia G50. The smartphone seems to be a new offering in the Nokia G series that has the Nokia G10 and Nokia G20 as the existing two models. Nokia G50 price may well exceed the ₹20,000-mark. It could include a waterdrop-style notch on the front instead of a punch-hole cutout. The Nokia G50 is speculated to be the most affordable 5G smartphone from the Finnish company. Now, renders, specifications and price of the device have been leaked online.

The development comes from tipster Roland Quandt who has shared the pricing, specifications and renders of the G50 5G. Earlier, from the teaser, we could see that the Nokia G50 will be offered in Blue and Midnight Sun colour options. Moreover, the post confirmed that the upcoming Nokia G-series device will offer 5G connectivity. Plus, it will have a 48MP primary camera. However, the new leak reveals that the Nokia G50 will feature a 6.82-inch IPS panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels.

The Nokia G50 could be a budget device as it is tipped to be powered by the entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset. It is expected to be paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As for the optics, the smartphone might sport a triple rear camera setup in a circular module. It could house a 48MP camera, which could be partnered with a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, you might get an 8MP selfie shooter. The device is said to carry support for 30fps 1080p video recording.

The Nokia G50 could run Android 11. It might pack a 4,850mAh battery. Moreover, the company is touted to promise 2 years of software upgrades and 3 years of security updates. Connectivity options might include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Nokia G50 price may come in at 259 / 269 euros (approx. ₹22,500). The device is also said to have 2 years of warranty.
