(HMD Global) ![Author Photo](https://images.hindustantimes.com/tech/static/revamp/images/png/HTTech-new-circle-logo.png) ### By AMRITANSHU MUKHERJEE Nokia has made a name for itself in the budget smartphone category lately and now, it is going to bring around some twist. The Nokia XR20 was launched globally as the company’s first rugged smartphone in the current times and now, it is coming to India. HMD Global is yet to set a date for the same. The Nokia XR20 is a rugged smartphone that is certified by military standards for durability against the world. The phone has a rating of MIL-STD810H along with IP68 water and dust resistance. Nokia claims the phone can survive drops from 1.8 meters and stay underwater for up to an hour. However, it is pricey in the global markets for a phone with entry-level specs. ## Nokia XR20 expected price The Nokia XR20 costs EUR 499 (approximately ₹44,000) in Europe for the base version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The higher variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs EUR 579 (approximately ₹50,600). HMD Global may adjust prices accordingly but you can expect higher than usual prices in India for this rugged smartphone.
