Redmi 9 Power with 6,000mAh battery launched in India
Redmi 9 Power also comes with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 processor, four rear cameras, and a full HD+ display.
Xiaomi today launched the Redmi 9 Power in India. Redmi 9 Power comes with a 6,000mAh battery, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 processor and offers up to 128GB storage. Redmi 9 Power is the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 9 4G that launched in China recently along with the Redmi Note 9 5G series.
Redmi 9 Power starts at ₹10,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The smartphone also comes with 128GB storage, and this variant is priced at ₹11,999. The first sale of Redmi 9 Power will take place on December 22 via mi.com, Amazon India and retail outlets.
Redmi 9 Power comes in four colour options of black, blue, red and green. It features a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 processor paired with Adreno 610 GPU. It also has a microSD card slot for expandable storage up to 512GB.
Its quad-camera setup features a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It also has an 8-megapixel front camera.
On the Redmi 9 Power, there's a 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Xiaomi is shipping a 22.5W charger with the smartphone in India. On the software front, Redmi 9 Power runs MIUI 12 based on Android 10 out-of-the-box. Connectivity options on the Redmi 9 Power include dual 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone also has an IR blaster.
