Xiaomi's Redmi will soon launch a new phone under its Redmi K30 series. Dubbed as Redmi K30s, the company has already begun teasing the launch, which is expected to happen on October 27. A new leak suggests the upcoming Redmi K30s is going to be priced lower than the Redmi K30 Ultra.

“Looking at the price you guessed before, the price of K30S is much lower than you think. Those who can't buy the K30U and like to play large-scale mobile games can squat a bit, and the sustained performance of the Snapdragon 865 is still better than Tianji,” said tipster Digital Chat Station in a tweet.

That said, Redmi K30s is rumoured to be a rebranded version of Mi 10T, which recently launched in markets such as Europe and India.

According to rumours, Redmi K30s will come with a 6.67-inch LCD with a pin-hole display featuring full HD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will offer as many as three rear cameras with the setup offering a combination of 64-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and 5-megapixel macro sensor. It will have a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.

Redmi K30s will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. It is worth noting that Redmi K30 Ultra runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ 5G flagship processor. Other expected features of the upcoming Redmi K30s include a 5,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging, and UFS 3.1 storage sans microSD card support.

Interestingly, Mi 10T offers a similar set of specifications. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 144Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The triple camera setup has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The smartphone is available in India for a starting price of 35,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes in an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage combination that is priced at 37,999.
