Redmi Note 11 for global markets to be a completely different model series! In the latest rumours steaming off in the market, the Redmi Note 11 models we recently saw in China won't be making it to global markets in the same state of specs and tune. Factor in new design, and new Snapdragon chips for the global models; the Redmi Note 11 in India may be completely different.

Tipped by a Vietnamese site The Pixel, it is said that Xiaomi has a completely different Redmi Note 11 series model in plan for the global markets. The reasons behind this aren't clear but it may have something to do with shortage of MediaTek Dimensity chips at Xiaomi's plants.

Along with the new chips, these phones are also expected to bring new designs. This has been a norm since the Redmi Note 10 series, wherein the Chinese variant ends up being completely different to the global variant. The Redmi Note 10 Pro in India is completely different from the same in China.

However, it is not that we won't see these new Dimensity 920 powered Redmi Note 11 Pro devices here. If the previous rumours hold an ounce of truth, India may see the Xiaomi 11i as a reworked Redmi Note 10 Pro. The Redmi Note 10 Pro+ with the highlighted 120W fast charging system may end up here as the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge.

Both these phones run on the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chips and both feature 120Hz AMOLED displays. Both of them feature the 108MP main camera as well. The differences are with the battery capacity and charging speeds.

The global versions of the Redmi Note 11 series are expected to feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus and Snapdragon 695 chips. These phones may see the light of the day in Vietnam in early 2022, but there's a high chance other markets could see the phones before.
