Redmi Note 11 Indian version TEASED! Looks like Xiaomi 11i
The Redmi Note 11 is coming to India soon, as suggested by Redmi's latest tweet. Here are details.
It seemed weird to get the Redmi Note 11T ahead of the vanilla Note 11 variants in late 2021. Xiaomi, however, is now making it all right by launching the regular models. A “Coming soon” post has just been floated, suggesting a launch within the next few weeks. No specs or price hints yet but we do have a glimpse of how this phone is going to look!
And it isn't a radical design change! The teaser possibly shows the Redmi Note 11 Pro variant, with its outwardly rectangular camera hump hosting a 108MP main camera. The phone also appears to have flat edges. The design is reminiscent of the Xiaomi 11i models, which are sold in China as the Redmi Note 11 Pro variants.
Redmi Note 11 series design teased
We could be mistaken but this Redmi Note 11 variant could have a slimmer chassis than the Xiaomi 11i, as evident from the teaser. There also appears to be a triple camera setup this time, with the other two fake housing holding an LED flash and a camera mockup.

What remains to be seen is how many variants do the Indian Note 11 series spawns. Will one of the models get the 5G treatment? What could be the chipset of choice? And most importantly, will they cost more than the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max?
With the Redmi Note 11 series launch happening soon, Xiaomi has dominated the month of January with the most product launches from one company (so far). Xiaomi's Mi division is preparing the Xiaomi 11T Pro for a January 19 launch while it just got done with the Xiaomi 11i series last week.
On the other hand, Realme is coming up with the Realme 9i soon and once the Redmi Note 11 goes official, we expect the Realme 9 and Realme 9 Pro models to debut here too.
