Tecno has launched a new budget smartphone in India. Tecno Pova comes with a 6,000mAh battery, a gaming chipset, and with up to 6GB of RAM.

Tecno Pova starts at 9,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and this variant is priced at 11,999. The smartphone is available in three colour options of black, blue and purple. The first sale of Tecno Pova is scheduled to take place on December 11 at 12 noon on Flipkart.

Tecno Pova features a 6.8-inch HD+ display with a punch-hole camera. It is powered by MediaTek's Helio G80 octa-core processor paired with Mali-G52 GPU. The smartphone also packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W Dual IC Flash Charge. This is supposed to be 20% faster than a single IC fast charge.

Tecno Pova has a quad-camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor, two 2-megapixel sensors and an AI lens. It has features such as bokeh, macro mode, short video, 2K video recording, and document scanner. The smartphone's camera also has a built-in Google Lens. For selfies, it has an 8-megapixel camera up front with beauty mode, night mode, HDR and more.

On the software front, Tecno Pova runs Android 10 with HiOS 7.0 layered on top. Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Tecno Pova also has a rear fingerprint sensor.
