Vivo V25 Pro to get Dimensity 1300 chipset; take a sneak peek

Vivo V25 series can soon be launched in India, the expected date of the same is August 17th. Though the date and other details have not yet been confirmed by the company, several reports have revealed certain specifications of the phone. As per the latest details, a scorecard from Geekbench 5 has now confirmed that the Vivo V25 Pro (V2158) will be powered by the Dimensity 1300 chipset. It can be known that Vivo is reportedly planning to launch two smartphones- vanilla Vivo V25 and the Vivo V25 Pro under the Vivo V25 series in India.
Earlier both the Vivo devices have appeared in the Google Play Console database with key specifications and their front images. As per reports, Vivo V25 and V25 Pro are listed on the console with their respective model numbers, V2202 and V2158. According to a report by gsmarena.com, the benchmarked unit had 12GB of RAM and it will certainly have the virtual RAM feature. Also, the phone will run Android 12.

According to the information provided by GPC, the Vivo V25 Pro will have an FHD+ AMOLED display (1,080 x 2,376px) along with a refresh rate of 120Hz. While according to the rumors, the phone will sport 66W fast charging. Also, speculated to be coming with the price tag under Rs. 40,000, the phone is expected to get the colour changing technology at the back, similar to that of the V23 series.

Coming to the cameras, reportedly, the Vivi V25 Pro is likely to sport a triple rear camera setup, including a 64MP main module. While the selfie or front camera will likely be of 32MP with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization), similar to the V21 phones.
