It has been a while since Xiaomi launched a smartphone in India; current competitive standard dictate launching at least one phone every month. Don't get worried though, as Xiaomi could end 2021 with a couple of smartphone launches. The Redmi Note 11T is one of the many models, while rumours suggest more phones coming in December.

The Redmi Note 11T is launching in India on November 30 but tipster Mukul Sharma says that more in the pipeline. Sharma did not reveal the model names yet but but hinted in a follow-up comment at the Xiaomi 11T Pro. The 11T Pro is the company's updated variant of the Mi 11X Pro that's sold in India. Sharma also hinted at more IoT products headed our way.

Xiaomi 11T Pro and more phones coming to India

Previous leaks have strongly suggested the arrival of the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ in India, albeit with new branding. The Redmi Note 11 Pro could be launched as the Xiaomi 11i while the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ may end up as the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge.

The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge could end up being the first smartphone in India to feature the 120W fast wired charging system. This phone could also bring the Dimensity 920 5G chip, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and its 108MP triple rear camera setup.

The vanilla Xiaomi 11i, similar to the Redmi Note 11 Pro in China, could offer the “slower” 67W wired charging solution. Both of these phones are expected to replace the ageing Xiaomi Mi 10i, which was launched in early 2021.

On the other hand, Xiaomi could also launch the global variants of the Redmi Note 11, starting with India. Note that reports have suggested the global and Indian variants of the Redmi Note 11 series to be much different than the Chinese models. Instead of the MediaTek chips, the Indian variant is likely to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.
