Xiaomi is launching ANOTHER Redmi Note 11 variant already! What will this version offer now?
Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Note 11T Pro+ in China later this month. Here is everything we know about these phones.
Xiaomi is launching another variant of the Redmi Note 11 just months after the release of the four Redmi Note 11 models back in March 2022. In China on May 24, Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 11T series, which is an updated version of the regular Redmi Note 11 series from the Chinese market. Xiaomi announced on Weibo that there will be two models at launch — a Redmi Note 11T Pro and a Redmi Note 11T Pro+. Note that these won't be succeeding the Redmi Note 11 Pro series in India.
The Redmi Note 11T Pro series will also carry a new design theme, as seen in the teaser poster. Most likely to be the Redmi Note 11T Pro+, the phone gets a completely new design on its rear that looks more akin to the Realme 9 Pro+ and Oppo F21 Pro series devices. It holds an iPhone 12-like camera hump with two large lease housing, and a small third lens housing. The phone will also be available in a grey and blue shade, albeit dark. The phone is also likely to have a flat sided design.

Redmi Note 11T Pro series teased
Xiaomi has also released more posters and more leaks have come in. It is confirmed that the phones will feature a flat flagship-grade LCD panel. The Redmi Note 11T Pro+ will also use a Dimensity 8100 chipset, which could put this in the same league as the Realme GT Neo 3.
Basically, these phones could end up as the successors to the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge in India. Rumours suggest that phones could also be sold as Poco devices in global markets, most likely as part of the extended Poco X4 series range.
We could also see a 108MP camera stay on the rear, and the retention of the 120W charging solution. Sadly, the AMOLED panels from their predecessors are gone.
While these models may take months to reach global markets, Xiaomi is rumoured to add more models to the Xiaomi 12 series in India. After the announcement of the Xiaomi 12 Pro last month, the company is expected to bring the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X to our markets. Rumours had also suggested that India could see the Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12X Pro, which could be rebranded versions of the Redmi K50 series from the Chinese market.
