Xiaomi teases Redmi 9 Power launch in India
Redmi 9 Power is rumoured to launch as a rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 4G.
Xiaomi has officially teased the launch of Redmi 9 Power in India. The teaser comes shortly after the smartphone was rumoured to launch in India soon. Xiaomi hasn't revealed the launch date yet but it's expected to take place on December 15.
The smartphone's teaser page is live on Xiaomi's website. Xiaomi has teased a 48-megapixel triple camera, and a power-packed battery but it hasn't specified the capacity though. Xiaomi hasn't revealed any other detail about its upcoming Redmi phone.

According to tipster Mukul Sharma, Redmi Note 9 4G will launch as Redmi 9 Power in India. Redmi Note 9 4G launched alongside the Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G in China. The smartphone has been spotted on the Google Play Console, and on BIS as well. Redmi Note 9 4G also has a 48-megapixel triple camera setup as teased for the Redmi 9 Power.
Going by this assumption we can expect Redmi 9 Power to feature a 9.53-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone is available in four storage storage variants in China.
In addition to the 48-megapixel primary sensor, Redmi 9 Power will have a wide angle lens, and a depth sensor. The smartphone will also pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
When it comes to pricing, Redmi 9 Power is expected to cost around the same as Redmi Note 4G which starts at CNY 999 ( ₹11,300 approx) in China.
