Indian athletes created history at the Tokyo Olympics, with javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra leading the way with a gold medal. And now, Xiaomi India has announced a gift for them all.

It has been a historic Olympic Games for India. Indian athletes at the Tokyo Olympics have won a bagful of medals and made their country proud. Now they are being showred with cash and from the government as well as private companies. Indian athletes have performed extremely well, and even broken the previous record haul of 6 medals in the 2012 Olympics by bringing home 7 medals - 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze medals. And to add to that, we have won our first ever Gold in athletics in the history of the Olympic Games, all thanks to the terrific performance by javelin thrower, Neeraj Chopra.

India has won a total of 10 Gold medals till date, with our men's hockey team winning 8 of them. The other two were won by Abhinav Bindra and Neeraj Chopra as individuals.

Mirabai Chanu, Ravi Kumar Dahiya, Lovlina Borgohain, PV Sindhu and Bajrang Punia are the other athletes who won medals for the country at the games and made every citizen proud. It takes immense grit, dedication and training to win at the Olympics.

To celebrate the terrific performances of these individuals, Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain took to his Twitter account to announce that the smartphone-maker will be gifting its flagship Mi 11 Ultra smartphone to all the athletes who have won a medal, including the Indian Hockey Team - India won the bronze medal in this game.

Jain tweeted, "We value the grit & dedication that it takes to win an #Olympics medal. As a small gesture of thanks, we'll humbly gift a #Mi11Ultra to all the Indian Olympic medal winners. Super phone for Super Heroes."

However, the Indian women's hockey team missed out on a medal by a whisker as they lost the game against Great Britain by a 3-4 scoreline.

The laurels don't stop here as not just the Indian government but various state governments have also announced prizes and gifts for all the athletes who made the nation proud with their display of immense sportsmanship and grit and won medals for the country.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is the company's flagship smartphone, which is priced at 69,999. It comes with 12GB RAM/256GB storage. In its budget offering, there is the Mi 11X, which is priced at 29,999 and offers 6GB RAM/128GB storage, while the mid-size one is priced at 31,999 and it offers 8GB RAM/128GB storage.
