Xiaomi to launch Mi 10T series today, check expected specs, features, and more

The Mi 10T series will feature Mi 10T Lite, Mi 10T, and Mi 10T Pro smartphones. New handsets will come with 5G support and high-end specifications. Here is a rumour round-up.

Xiaomi will introduce a new smartphone series later today. The new handsets are going to be an extension to the premium Mi 10 series. Featuring a “T” suffix, Xiaomi will launch Mi 10T Lite, Mi 10T, and Mi 10T Pro. All the new phones will come with 5G connectivity.

Xiaomi will unveil the new Mi 10T series at 5:30 PM IST today. You can watch the live stream of the event on the company's official YouTube and Facebook handles. For real-time updates, you can also follow Xiaomi's Twitter handle. Interestingly, the event will take place hours before Google's Launch Night In event where Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A 5G phones will be announced.

Xiaomi Mi 10T series: What to expect

Ahead of the official release, Xiaomi's Mi 10T phones have made numerous appearances online. Just this week, leakster Sudhanshu revealed full specifications of Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro phones.

Mi 10T Lite: The smartphone is likely to run on a Qualcomm chipset. It will come in 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variants, reports Gizchina.

Mi 10T: The handset will feature a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution. It will have 20:9 aspect ratio and 144Hz refresh rate. The front and back panel of the phone will have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Mi 10T will be powered by Qualcomm's flagship processor, Snapdragon 865, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage. The phone has at least three cameras on the back featuring 64-megapixel, 13-megapixel, and 5-megapixel sensors. On the front, it has a 20-megapixel selfie camera.

Mi 10T will run on a 5,000mAh battery coupled with 33W fast charging support. Other key specifications of the phone include USB Type-C, dual-SIM, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, and IR Blaster.

Mi 10T Pro: It has the same 6.67-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 144Hz refresh rate. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor will power the phone under the hood. It has 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of built-in storage.

The rear-camera setup includes 108-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, 13-megapixel wide-angle, and 5-megapixel macro sensors. On the front, it has a 20-megapixel selfie camera.

Mi 10T Pro will also run by a 5,000mAh battery coupled with 33W fast charging support. Other key specifications of the phone include USB Type-C, dual-SIM, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, and IR Blaster.
