The chips are said to be produced using TSMC's 6nm process which was announced last year and they are likely to be related to Apple's selection of Qualcomm's Snapdragon X65 modem. 6nm process for 5G RF chips enables manufacturing of smaller chips with lower power consumption on both sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G bands, while delivering benchmark performance.
