Apple has begun issuing monthly credits to Apple TV+ subscribers through January

This credit will be applied to the user’s Apple ID and can be used for games, movies or other Apple services as you choose.

Apple TV+ subscribers who have already paid for their annual or monthly plans have started receiving emails from Apple about monthly credits. Apple has started sending emails out to Apple TV+ subscribers informing them that they will be credited $4.99 ( 371 approx) for each month subscribed through January 2021.

This amount varies based on Apple TV+pricing in other countries so it's $5.99 ( 446 approx) in Canada and $7.99 ( 595 approx) in Australia.

This credit will be applied to the user's Apple ID and can be used for games, movies or other Apple services as you choose.

Apple said in the email that this is their way of thanking subscribers for using their services.

Apple TV+ subscribers were informed last month that those with free access thanks to a device purchase (from September 2019 onwards) would have their one-year free trial extended till February 2021.

Apple said that the trials are being extended to give Apple TV+ subscribers more time to check out original content on the service.
