Based on a tip from ShrimpApplePro, it is said that Apple is planning to release the Apple TV app for Android smartphones. The project is already under development and Apple is planning to release it soon. Although no specific timeline for this has been mentioned, it is likely that Apple could announce the same at the next WWDC event.

The Apple TV app hosts the Apple TV+ subscription, which in turn allows access to all the original content commissioned by Apple. Apple has been lately pushing the Apple TV+ service as an alternative to the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar.
