Tata Sky’s Classroom service is available in Hindi and English languages. The service features curriculum-based content for students from Class 5 to 8 in subjects such as Maths and Science.

Tata Sky on Monday announced that it is making Tata Sky Classroom service free for all subscribers.

The service is available on #653 on Tata Sky. Targeted at the users in Tier 2, 3 and 4, Tata Sky Classroom offers remote learning through the TV. It is available in both Hindi and English. Some of the highlights of the service include curriculum-based content for students from Class 5 to 8 in subjects such as Maths and Science. The content also features full-length practice tests and sample papers with answers.

“Online education in India is currently beset by several challenges, prime amongst them being the lack of adequate infrastructure. With Tata Sky's vast reach, millions of children will get access to quality education for free via their television sets. The service is mapped with children's CBSE school syllabus and offers concept learning videos, delivered in an interesting story led format,” Tata Sky said in a release.

Tata Sky has of late made a bunch of updates to its services. Just recently, it announced free access to Hungama Music Pro content library for its Tata Sky Music and Music+ subscribers.

Last month, it added CuriosityStream to its Binge platform. Tata Sky Binge users now have access to as many as 10 OTT applications such as Disney+ Hotstar Premium, ZEE5, SunNxt, Hungama Play, Eros Now, ShemarooMe, Voot Select, and Voot Kids among others.
