Nothing Ear (Stick) launches in India at a price of Rs. 8499. (Nothing)

Before ending 2022, Nothing announced its second product in India. The Nothing Ear (Stick) is the third product from the UK-based brand, and is the second audio product alongside the ear (1) earbuds that were launched last year. The Ear (Stick) is aimed at those who seek good audio with great comfort above everything else, and a case that looks like no other TWS earbuds case. The Ear (Stick) comes in only a single white colour variant.

Nothing has priced the Ear (Stick) at Rs. 8,499, which makes it a tad more expensive than the Nothing ear (1). Note that the Ear (Stick) misses out on certain luxuries that the ear (1) has. The company has started taking pre-orders for the earbuds and will put them on live sale from November 4. Nothing had originally teased it at the Spring Summer 2023 Fashion Show in September this year.

Nothing Ear (Stick): What do you get it

The Nothing Ear (Stick) looks more like a fashion accessory than an audio gear. The Ear (Stick) earbuds feature a custom built 12.6 mm driver and the inbuilt battery can last up to 29 hours on a single charge. Note that earbuds can last up to 7 hours on a single charge.

The case is where all the attention goes. It is still transparent, like all other Nothing products, but the cylindrical shape is designed in a way to resemble a lipstick case – it even as a red element inside to imitate the tip. You twist open the case to get to your earbuds, which look exactly the same the ear (1) earbuds. The only difference is that this is half- in-ear design, which means no silicon tips.

The earbuds feature pressure sensitive “pinch” controls similar to the Apple AirPods 3rd Generation. There is no ANC but there are 3 mics to provide better voice isolation during voice calls. The Nothing X app, which is required for Android and iOS users, lets you customise the controls, tune the equaliser settings and update the firmware. Nothing Phone (1) users do not need to download this app, since the Nothing OS has these settings baked in.
