Battlegrounds Mobile India officially launched for Android users on July 2. The battle royale was made available to download on the Google Play Store. The craze for this PUBG Mobile alternative is so high that it has already become the top free game in India on the Google Play Store. This was within just 24 hours of its launch. Battlegrounds Mobile India also became the top grossing game after Garena Free Fire. As of now, the game has over 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store. Recovery after PUBG Mobile ban It’s not surprising to see this response for Battlegrounds Mobile India as the game has been highly anticipated by fans in India. Following the ban of PUBG Mobile last year, Krafton announced it would launch PUBG Mobile India with customised features for Indian users, and some changes as well. It finally launched the game as Battlegrounds Mobile India. Prior to the official launch, Krafton opened pre-registrations for the game on May 18. Krafton said it received 40 million pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India. Later on June 17, Krafton opened up early access to the game which garnered over five million users.
