Battlegrounds Mobile India downloads on the Google Play Store have been rocketing along and they have pushed the app to No. 1 spot in India. PUBG Mobile India has recovered very well after the ban.

Battlegrounds Mobile India has been hogging the spotlight for weeks and even now it is refusing to give up the space to anyone else. Battlegrounds Mobile India officially launched for Android users on July 2. The battle royale was made available to download on the Google Play Store. The craze for this PUBG Mobile alternative is so high that it has already become the top free game in India on the Google Play Store. This was within just 24 hours of its launch. Battlegrounds Mobile India also became the top grossing game after Garena Free Fire. As of now, the game has over 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store.

Recovery after PUBG Mobile ban

It's not surprising to see this response for Battlegrounds Mobile India as the game has been highly anticipated by fans in India. Following the ban of PUBG Mobile last year, Krafton announced it would launch PUBG Mobile India with customised features for Indian users, and some changes as well. It finally launched the game as Battlegrounds Mobile India. Prior to the official launch, Krafton opened pre-registrations for the game on May 18. Krafton said it received 40 million pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India. Later on June 17, Krafton opened up early access to the game which garnered over five million users.

BGMI can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. There is no iOS version of the game, and Krafton is yet to update on the same. Those who have downloaded the early access version of Battlegrounds Mobile India can simply update the game on the Google Play Store to play the official version. Krafton is also offering players the Battlegrounds Mobile India Constable Set for free, and it can be downloaded from the in-game events section. There's also the India ka Battlegrounds gift reward and rewards for 1 million and 5 million downloads that can be claimed until August 19.

PUBG Mobile India data transfer

Krafton is also allowing PUBG Mobile players to transfer data to Battlegrounds Mobile India. But this data transfer process will be available only until July 5. The service will be taken down from July 6 until further notice. PUBG Mobile players can check all the data and items that can be transferred from the Battlegrounds Mobile India website.
