Battlegrounds Mobile India may have removed some of the issues that plagued PUBG Mobile India. That said, many continue to use illegal measures to gain unfair advantage in the game and ruin the experience for others. Publisher Krafton now wants to keep that in check with certain measures of its own, which it has stated in the latest guidelines.

Since September 15, Krafton has started checking for illegal activities on all player accounts when one logs into the game. BGMI players will be greeted with a notification of warning if they are found to use illegal third-party measures. The Battlegrounds Mobile India warning will also be conveyed if the new anti-cheat measures detect a rooted/jailbroken device, a different account, and for the instances when abnormal data is detected.

In its latest update to the guidelines, Krafton says, “Measures will be taken as new types of illegal programs and activities have been identified recently. Please note that countermeasures will be taken in the following manner. Battlegrounds Mobile India will continue to take strong sanctions to eradicate the use of illegal programs in order to provide a pleasant gaming environment to all the fans who play in normal way.”

Krafton also states that players not using any illegal measures may also find the warning pop-up frequently. One of the reasons stated is downloading the game files from an unofficial source other that Apple and Google app stores. In this scenario, players need to delete it and reinstall the game from the verified sources. Not doing so may see the account getting banned.

The other reason is related to data falsification after installing other apps. “If the warning message pops up even if you have not used an illegal program, data that is judged to be an illegal program (data falsification, etc.) may have been detected through installing other apps without being aware of it. But do not be concerned too much, and please proceed with the Routine Repair in the login screen to convert the data back to normal,” says Krafton.

How to deal with warning?

Players are asked to follow the routine repair process once they are greeted with such messages. Here's how you can do it.

- While in the lobby of BGMI, go to SETTINGS.

- Open “Basic” and tap on “Log out”.

- Once the login screen appears, click on the “Repair” option.

- Click on “Routine Repair” and then “Ok”.

Once the process ends, you can continue logging into the Battlegrounds Mobile India. The game may also suggest updating to the latest version from the official app stores.
